Wonderful stay next to paddy fields I had the best experience at Lingkhar Lodge in March, among lush paddy fields and top-notch service. I was greeted by the owner, Ms Deki, personally and had a wonderful conversation with her. I also met many interesting people at the lodge, so it was definitely a memorable experience. My room there was tastefully designed and felt like home away from home, especially with its soft light design throughout. The hotel meal included the best Bhutanese cuisine and used farm-to-table ingredients. The lodge was a good distance from the main town, approx. 15-minute drive, and offers a fine dose of solitude. Lingkhar Lodge also offers a curated selection of products that really blew me away. I hope to be back very soon.

Like a home After a long, tiring trip, staying at a clean and comfy hotel like this is just so healing. It’s tucked away in a beautiful valley, the rooms are gorgeous, and the food is amazing. The owner, Deki, is so warm and welcoming—every night she’d be in the dining room, chatting with guests and sharing stories about Bhutan. I’d love to come back and stay here again someday.
